People ask me all time, "Is the Flourish Series for women only?"
I eagerly reply, "No! We've all got money stuff to work though!" Yes, the gender pay gap is real. Yes, the pink tax is real. Yes, tampons are expensive. But men, women, and people of all gender identities in between have a relationship with money formed by some combination of personal experiences & CONFUSING societal messages. Think about it. Society often tells women, "You are bad with money." Society often tells men, "You should know everything about money." Meanwhile, society teaches no one about money and asks that we all be polite and not talk about it. What a dilemma! The good news is the Flourish Series (like pretty much all things) gets even juicier the more diversity we have represented in each cohort. We can learn so much about ourselves when we get the chance to learn about others, too. 👩🏻🦰🧑🏽👨🏿👨🏼🦱👩🏾🦱🧑🏻
We've ALL got money stuff to work through. We ALL benefit when the money taboo dissolves. We ALL start to heal this money wound so many of us walk around with when we allow ourselves to talk about it. This is super expansive work for everyone--let’s do it together.
